• Lead reliability and integrity studies of the plant infrastructure.
• Develop, contract, supervise, review project engineering. In particular those related to desalinated water transport aqueducts.
• Lead ATA aqueduct pipe change project. 2.8 MM USD.
• Support in project management for the development of a mineral shipment system through an EPS contract in Puerto Las Losas, Huasco. 9 MM USD
• Other minor projects. All of them meeting deadlines, costs and quality.
• Currently leading investment projects:
  • Drive system. 2.5 MM USD.
  • Project for a conveyor belt system for Mineral in Puerto Las Losas 8 MM USD
  • Counterpart team leader in project MACNN 30 MM USD change of 27 Kms of pipe with interior lining
  • Management of impulsion duct maintenance and its commitment to operational reliability and the assigned budget.

1. Achivements:

• Elaboration of a project to modify the press system in the Commercial Cut Guillotine equipment, which meant a noticeable drop in the failure rate in a sensitive stage of the Straight Bar Rolling Mill.
• Project leader for the structural repair of ships damaged by the 27F earthquake
• Responsible for assessing repairs in Blast Furnace 1 product of 27F earthquake damage.

Savings of US $ 1,000,000 for expertise and failure analysis of various mechanical and structural equipment.
