About Tridge:

We are looking for an ambitious and energeticGlobal Origination Managers( _procurement managers_) to help us engagewith local suppliers of agro products (_fruits and nuts_).

You sourcenew supply, build partnerships with existing and new growers and guidethem with regards to production, quality, product development.

Youcoordinate with various departments such as logistics, qualitycontrol, back office, marketing, accounting and a range of externalservice providers which include certifiers, agronomists, stakeholdersand banks.

Responsibilities include but are not limitedto: - Work with existing suppliers across the country

• Research and approach new potential suppliers
• Nurture excellentrelationships with suppliers with the aim of developing longtermrelationships that will help to deliver cost savings to customers
• Manage supplier delivery times, logistics and quality processes
• Negotiate and set up contracts and agree on KPI's
• Research onlocal products with strong demand (import potential) and report toTridge HQ
  Preferred backgrounds:
• Education level:BSc/MSc in agriculture, business administration or similar

Atleast 5 years of experience in fruit (Cherry, Sugar Plums, Grapes,Apples, and Citrus fruits) sourcing, trade and supply chainmanagement**:

• Experience managing quality inspection andlogistics processes
• Language proficiency: Fluent in English andin the local language
• Excellent trading skills
• Affinity withorganic farming, fair trade, and sustainability
• Familiar with pre& post harvest technology
• Entrepreneurial spirit as well asmanagerial skills
• Networker, 'peoples business' type
• Stronginterpersonal skills
• Stress resistant, can handle theimperfections of others, reflective, selfcritical, solution driven,achiever
