- Involucramiento temprano con el Área de Compras, para tomar conocimiento del universo de Requisiciones y Órdenes de Compras a controlar, esto con la finalidad de planificar, cuantificar y solicitar los recursos necesarios para una buena gestión.
- Recibir Órdenes de Compra, revisar plazos de entrega y condiciones contractuales.
- Contactar al Proveedor de la Orden de Compra y coordinar reunión de inicio, a objeto de revisar juntamente con las áreas de Ingeniería, Compras y Control de Proyectos las condiciones contractuales, documentación, planos, plazos de entrega, entre otros aspectos.
- Generación de informes semanales y mensuales. Coordinar e informar al Área de Transporte y Logística la fecha de entrega y liberación de los bienes y equipos, con toda la información respecto a pesos y dimensiones, para que éstos se presenten al retiro en las distintas maestranzas y fábricas con los equipos aptos y apropiados para el transporte a terreno, y realizar el seguimiento durante su traslado y llegada a bodegas.

El activador será encargado de controlar Registrar y almacenar los documentos que integran la gestión de adquisiciones, hacer seguimiento a las compras una vez adjudicada la compra en cuestión, con el fin de lograr la trazabilidad de la información, según los requisitos de la Gerencia .
Administrar información y documentación de la forma más expedita con todos los involucrados en la cadena, es decir, la información debe ser oportuna, clara y sobre todo orientada para que el involucrado tome y realice las acciones en forma eficiente.
