    The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of a warehouse to ensure efficiency and productivity. They also oversee the daily operations of the warehouse which includes shipping and receiving end goods, people management, safety compliance, and inventory control.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordination of shipping, receiving, and storage of goods.
    • Maintaining warehouse inventory and records.
    • Monitoring and ensuring quality control for all goods entering and exiting the warehouse.
    • Ensuring compliance with all warehouse regulations and safety standards.
    • Coordinating warehouse space allocation.
    • Collaborating with other staff members to improve processes and outcomes.
    • Organizing and conducting necessary training activities for the staff and workers.
    • Implementing operational policies and procedures.
    • Communicating and coordinating with other departments and partners.
    • Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities.
    • Manage, evaluate, and report warehouse productivity.
    • Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
    • Plan, order, receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items appropriately.
    • Plan safety stock for all inventory.
    • Inspect products for defects and damages.
    • Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments.
    • Organize warehouse space.
    • Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
    • Check, verify, and fill customer invoices.
    • Abide by and enforce facility safety and health rules and regulations.
    • Train, guide, and evaluate new warehouse workers.
    • Track inventory levels, handle all aspects of shipping and receiving, and keep accurate records.
    • Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or a similar role.
    • Knowledge of legal requirements of operating a warehouse.
    • Proficient with computers and other technology.
    • Excellent understanding of warehouse data systems.
    • Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
    • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Physical stamina, able to work long hours on your feet and lift heavy items.
    • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or a relevant field would be a plus.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift heavy objects.
    • Current forklift certification may be required.
