Description Recruit and train sales executives in Euromonitor's sales approaches and methods as well as create the sales strategy for Euromonitor in Latin America. Creating the commercial strategy implies successfully mapping the territory, helping the commercial team to reach its goals and, finally, evaluating the negotiations with different organizations in Latin America. Maximize sales in companies and organizations within the assigned territory. Support team members and help them achieve their individual and collective goals. Attend meetings with high-level clients to make sales and consulting presentations. Report to the Head of Sales of Latin America for the progress, activities and any other issue that may arise. Be a link with other directors and managers on topics such as sales development, research, IT, personnel, marketing, etc.
Territory and Products Continuously improve understanding of syndicated and consulting products; such as Passport, Passport Category Level, Research Monitor, Economies & Consumers, Passport Industrial and VIA. Maximize the opportunities of the assigned territory through careful analysis of prospects and existing customers. Help team members close deals with current clients and open new business opportunities.
Recruitment and Development Clearly define the profile and requirements for open positions, provide feedback during and after interviews, which will result in better candidates, shorter hire times, and more successful onboarding. Work with each new team member developing custom onboarding plans built around the following concepts: Help team members improve their performance and grow within the company. Maintain an open stance regarding business management. Invest in the maintenance of a proactive, enthusiastic and creative culture oriented to the fulfillment of the objectives.
Team Performance Develop strategies to ensure compliant performance and meet business goals, both monthly and yearly. Meet regularly with members of your team to review business plans and review the status of your sales opportunities. Proactively explore ways to motivate and meet individual and team needs. Collaborate with Sales Managers, Business Development Executives and Industry Managers to take full advantage of opportunities and generate solutions in a timely manner. Actively seek ways to improve team motivation and satisfaction.
Leadership Collaborate with peers in other functional areas: sales, consulting, research, and administration. Work closely with peers in other offices to ensure the implementation of global account strategies in a careful and coordinated manner. Ensure the proper use of the company's computer and communication systems.
Performance Meet and exceed your team's business goals, both monthly and yearly Retain a significant percentage of clients through subscription renewals or new consulting projects. Work with the research area to develop good practices in the Virtuous Circle. Fill vacancies with strong candidates who are a real contribution to the team. Develop strong morals and ethics within the sales team.
Requirements 6+ years of experience in consultative sales, interacting with C-Level executives and selling high value business solutions (minimum of USD 50.000 per deal). 3+ years of experience leading a sales team. Highly developed soft and communications skills, this person will interact with high level stakeholders and lead a team of experienced salespeople. Proficiency in English, desirable proficiency in Portuguese too. Experience doing business with different Latin American countries is a plus. Experience selling consultancy services or market research is a plus.
