Job Title: Software Engineer II (.NET, Angular)

Location : Santiago, Chile

As a Software Engineer on the panel registration team, you’ll build the web apps, web services, and databases that enable Comscore to recruit and retain panelists on desktop computers and mobile devices worldwide.

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team with a solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, prior experience developing web applications, and knowledge of industry best-practices. This job involves designing, building, and maintaining multilingual web applications, web services to power our apps and devices, and databases to support these applications. New development is in Angular and .NET Core and legacy applications are in ASP.NET.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop web applications that provide a great experience for users worldwide and help accomplish Comscore’s business objectives
  • Develop web services that communicate with Comscore’s mobile apps, desktop apps, and home network devices
  • Leverage modern frameworks and software engineering best practices to write code that is extensible, reusable, and maintainable
  • Develop and work with databases for application development and data analysis
  • Investigate and fix software issues
  • Work mainly with Angular, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and MS SQL server, but also be flexible enough to use other technologies when the task requires it
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Panel Operations, and other Comscore engineering teams
  • What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience developing web applications in a professional environment
  • Experience with SQL databases
  • Experience with Angular, .NET Core, ASP.NET, or Microsoft SQL server is a plus
  • Git, Jenkins, and other dev ops experience is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams, business and operations teams, and quality assurance teams to develop new software and solve problems
