We are looking for someone passionate about the craft of telling stories, from researching deeply to talking and interviewing people to putting it all together in a variety of formats including articles, announcements, ebooks, email, press releases, scripts, profiles, essays and others. Also, we’d love it if you push us to consider new ways of producing content and reaching our audience that we haven’t yet thought of.As a Content specialist, you will be responsible for finding brands among our customers that are pushing the boundaries of commerce today and uncovering their stories in different formats (from a blog post to an event full of people!). We want you to pick the most relevant angle and dive deep into their challenges and accomplishments, in order to publish compelling and insightful stories. We're interested in digital transformation – not as the buzzword it became, but as a business phenomenon that affects multiple sides of the corporations, being it: culture and organization, results and performance, operations and technology, and even long-term vision.You will be reporting to the Head of Marketing Chile.ResponsabilitiesCreate content pieces aiming to engage with our audience in the forms of (but not limited to): long-form writing, announcements and press releases, ebooks, whitepapers, case studies, academic cases, interviews, essays, profiles and newsletters, copies for ads, social media and texts to attract our different audiences. Also this content could be a video or an event.Help with the peer-review and proofreading process when needed.Support, drive and stimulate content generated by local marketing teams and other employees;Uphold brand voice style and storytelling while researching optimized keywords and phrases and weaving them into the stories organically.Become knowledgeable of the VTEX product as the content revolves around how our product accelerates commerce transformation.Requirements Journalist with no more than 5 years of experience on tech industry (ecommerce knowledge) Needs to have excellent written communication skills – someone who understands how to frame a message in a clear, concise, and compelling way.Experience with writing, producing and publishing content, especially to online channels.Demonstrates attention to detail and organizational skills.Has impeccable writing and editing skills – a creative mind with a sharp eye for detail and a keen ear for tone and language.Spanish language and advanced/fluent proficiency in English (mandatory).A self-starter mindset with a focus on constant self-improvement: adaptable with a willingness to learn, as topics will vary per country, industry and technology.Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and a glow for measuring content performance.BenefitsCompetitive salary Flexible schedule and home office optionalReimbursement of 65% for language learning courses (English, Spanish and Portuguese)Medical and dental insurance policy Annual bonus of up to 2 monthly salaries, based on VTEX Global guidelines and targets
