Are includes in this portfolio of solutions, milking automation systems, management software, auxiliary systems ( feeding/sorting gates/id systems), and monitoring solutions.Technical Support OverviewThe Technology Support Manager’s primary responsibility will be to provide and coordinate remote and field support to our company Intelligence's new installations and existing installed system base. This position provides a first response to all requests for technical support and assistance, and escalates and routes issues to appropriate staff at Corporate when needed. This position will also train and provide support to other internal staff and “preferred” partners or distributors.The candidate should also possess strong organization and coordination skills to manage not only his/her work but also direct the work of outsourced technology technicians who routinely install MAHI systems to ensure all issues are appropriately addressed, documented, and swiftly resolved.This position will be a critical member of the Technical Services team and will work closely with individual Sales Representatives and our outsourced technology technicians or “preferred” providers.This position may require significant travel.Primary Responsibilities Include:System SupportProvide first response technical support to all issues reported via phone, on-site visits, and remote monitoring. Technical support includes troubleshooting computer hardware and software, replacements and upgrades, and data migration from third-party herd management software providers.Set up, manage, and promote usage of phone support help desk.Ensure all issues are expediently addressed, resolved, and documented with technical notes.Provide technology orientation and training to Field Sales and Field Post Sale Support representatives.Provide monthly support reports to management and analyze results.Actively raise issues and recommend improvements to support services.Management of Installation and Support VendorsProvide training, manuals, and background needed to installers to ensure proper and cost-effective installs. Communicate professionally with them on an as-needed basis.Direct the work of external technology vendors who provide installation and support on-site to our customers.Manage the installation and support process (onsite and documentation) for technology vendors.Use Project Management skills and organization to successfully manage multiple projects at once.Basic System AdministrationProvide system setup management and initial system configuration.Remotely review and monitor system operation and backup.Minimum Requirements Technician / Automation Engineer / Mechanics / ElectronicsExperience with milking automation solutions.At least 3 years' experience as a technical support team leader.Experience providing service and communicating with a large scale customer base.Experience in troubleshooting and technical analysis.IT skills, such as networking and network troubleshooting.Experience in web systems.Good Knowledge of SQL.Fluent English & Spanish (read/write/speak).NOC /QA / Dev knowledge and experience – AdvantageGood knowledge of Linux OS systems, especially Ubuntu/Debian - AdvantageWe are driven by our purpose to develop and deliver innovative products that save and improve lives.
