- Environmental leadershipthrough SHEScompliant and proactive engagement (e.g., SeniorLeadership Interactions
- SLIs).
- Specialist environmental supportof land and groundwater contamination prevention projects within theRegion through all phases to deliver acceptable project outcomes basedon risk reduction, liability management, reputational management,etc.
- Specialist environmental support and leadership to theRegion to ensure compliance with Group Standard 21 Environment andwith requirements relating to establishment and management ofenvironmental provisions.
- Specialist environmental support ofMaterial Environmental Issues Reviews (MEIRs) and SHES Audits in theRegion.
- Specialist environmental support of Mergers andAcquisitions (M&A) projects as required in theRegion.
- SHES (particularly Environmental)performance for the Region and for projects.
- Completion of(effective) actions in Enablon primarily personallyassignedactions; secondarily for Environmental events, eKCVs, audits, MEIRs,etc. in the Region.
- SLIs carried out personally within theRegion.
- Remediation projects' deliveryagainst technical and project performance objectives acceptance byenvironmental auditor (if applicable) and regulator.
- Feedbackfrom Regional Head of SHES, site managers, remediation projectmanagers, M&A project managers, etc.
What you willbring - Critical Experience and Qualifications:
- Formalqualifications in related disciplines or relevant engineeringdisciplines (environmental, chemical) are strongly preferred.
- Strong SHES management skills and commitment
- Experience (510years) in SHES leadership and in environmental management systems andstrategy delivery strongly preferred.
- Experience working in aChemical Plant.
- Sound knowledge of environmental managementtechnologies and principles.
- Sound knowledge of regulatoryframework within the Region.
- Good level of English andproficiency in Portuguese
- Strong communication (written,verbal, listening) and strategic influencing skills.
- Good timeand priority management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Projectmanagement skills, including cost and progress controls, would behelpful.
