    What you will be doing

    • ONSITE AT CLIENT HEALTH SYSTEM
    • PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:_
    • Demonstrates theability to fully and accurately utilize IndiCare and all itsfunctionality for successful claims management. 2. Identifiesand qualifies patients for patient assistance programs at assignedfacilities. 5. Interfaces appropriately with PAPrepresentatives. 6. Conforms to all changes in PAPs asevidenced by most recent program changes in IndiCare. 7.Establishes business relationships with assigned hospital contacts andother pertinent hospital department managers, keeping them informed ofsignificant changes in site-specific recovery potential based onchanges to PAPs. 8. Interfaces appropriately with assigned keyaccount associates with information relevant to additional productsand services provided by ABC and its subsidiaries. 9. Resolvesbarriers proactively that may affect reimbursement at assignedfacilities and provides detailed updates to the Patient AssistanceServices Management when unable to resolve independently. 10.Readily assists on special projects within job scope to improvereimbursement optimization when requested by management.

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONALREQUIREMENTS:


    _ This position requires broad training in fieldssuch as Medical Office Administration, Social Work, Medical Records,Patient Financial Services, Pharmacy, Nursing or similar vocationsgenerally obtained through completion of a 2-year Associate Degree,technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experienceand education.

    KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITYREQUIREMENTS:
    _1. Ability to communicate effectively bothorally and in writing 2. Demonstrated competence in MicrosoftExcel and Word 3. Strong interpersonal skills 4.
