Working as a Project Engineer, you will work directly with our customers providing technical details, costs, and deliverables for sales proposals.
In this role, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.

This position reports to

Regional Product Group Manager

Your responsibilities

• Develops project engineering, interacting with factories and translating product engineering from the factory to the local solution.
• Compliance with international and national electrical and mechanical engineering regulations (products: IEC, ANSI, RIC (national), rooms: NCH, ETG-1020).
• Weekly or monthly reporting to operations management, and daily with the area's Project Manager.
• Assisting project managers and project lead engineers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors.
• Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards.
• Creating and delivering the work plan and budget, as well as risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline.
• Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.

Your background

• Bachelor ́s Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Five years of experience in engineering integration solutions in general and Electrical Rooms, medium voltage and low voltage equipment, control and protections, and SCADA.
• Experience working with AutoCAD or similar programs.
• Knowledge of international and Chilean regulations (IEC, ANSI, NCh, ETG-1020, RIC).
• Advanced English level.
• Good communication skills.

• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
• Availability to travel.
