The Xbox Platform Team's mission is to lead the Operating System (OS) & Platform for next-generation gaming across a product portfolio of devices. As a Product Manager II, you will deliver a scalable software platform for players and developers. You will work across player and developer experiences, commerce, business, and platform to deliver cross-functional features and programs that customers love.

Responsibilities:

1. Define, organize, and drive our overall strategy for current and future gaming products, platforms, and experiences.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform aligns with overall product strategy and user needs.
3. Make and communicate technical and experiential design tradeoffs to lay out a path for achieving our vision.
4. Balance in-market product health and performance with the development of our long-term product vision and roadmap.

Qualifications:
Required:

1. Bachelor's Degree AND 3+ years' experience in product/service/project/program management or software development managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects, OR equivalent experience.
2. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
3. Advanced English level.
4. Enthusiastic, attention to detail, results-oriented, organized, motivated, and self-driven.
5. Self-starter who not only deals well with but thrives in ambiguity.
6. Drive to innovate and solve complex problems while retaining focus on maintaining a profitable business.

Preferred:

1. 5+ years' experience in product/service/project/program management or software development managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects, OR equivalent experience.
2. Technical knowledge and understanding of operating systems, platforms, and integration across platforms and devices/experiences.
3. Experience with a full shipping cycle of gaming-focused products (e.g., Games, Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, etc.).
4. Deep passion for consumer products, gaming, or the entertainment business.
