    In this pivotal role, you will assist with all aspects of retention and engagement marketing strategy, planning, and performance, ensuring successful achievement of all KPIs for the LACA market.

    This includes working with internal stakeholders to translate key business objectives into marketing that reaches and engages our current customers.

    You will be part of a team that supports the LACA product and marketing groups and is counted on to drive retention and engagement efforts that result in Western Union's continued growth in the space.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Act as the day to day contact for retention and engagement strategy and campaigns across channels that include email, in app, blogs, app/website, and other CRM based marketing efforts.
    • Responsible for supporting and managing initial planning, monitoring, optimization, and analysis, including developing campaign calendars and briefs.
    • Drive key business requirements for the LACA business segments across channels; requires ability to analyze data, read reporting, recommend changes and optimizations as required based on ongoing monitoring of performance.
    • Manage opportunities and communication strategy across digital platforms (app/website).
    • Work closely with our Lifecycle and Customer Engagement teams to design plans, outline objectives, implement testing, report, and hit key KPIs for each of the business deliverables, as outlined in the plans.
    • Identify and investigate new opportunities and areas for growth/expansion to improve current marketing efforts, ensuring strategies fit within the overall LACA marketing plans.
    • Current working knowledge and executions across marketing channels including email and in app marketing, as well as cross channel integrations with paid media.
    • Manage local Blog Pages strategy and all related themes, in partnership with a social agency and internal teams.
    • Must be able to work well across multiple departments within the organization including brand, media, creative, legal, product, pricing, and global marketing to identify key requirements and leverage assets that will assist in driving growth.
    • Manage end to end retention/engagement campaign lifecycle, from brief to completion, including legal review and internal approvals and signoffs.
    Role Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent experience preferred.
    -2-5 years of retention/engagement marketing experience specific to Digital channels.

    • Experience with email and in app marketing tools including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, mParticle, Kochava, etc.
    • Ability to operate independently in a fast paced environment and run multiple campaigns through different phases of execution and languages across the region.
    • Spanish native speaker and professional proficiency in English is required.
    Portuguese is a plus
