As an Account Manager withinPublic Sector at Cisco, you'll play a pivotal role in the salesprocess and work with a large portfolio of technology products andservices.

    You'll help advance the Public Sector sales team and makeour customers' lives better and easier.

    Who You'll WorkWith The vision of our organization is to help governments toprotect, educate and serve citizens at the national, state, and locallevel. You will work as part of a phenomenal team of Public SectorAccount Managers and partner with a hardworking group of SystemsEngineers and Product sales specialists, who share the samepassion. You are able to effectively position Cisco solutionswithin various departments and functional groups with the customer toensure that the full spectrum of Cisco solutions is being presented.

    In addition to driving strong customer relationships, you will need towork closely with key reseller partners as well as ecosystem partnersto complement Cisco's offerings in the market.

    You are comfortableselling business value at an executive level and across customer linesof business, return on investment/TCO at a financial level, andtechnical benefits at an IT- and CxO level.


    Who YouAre- 5-10 years of consultative sales experience in thelarge Enterprise market; highly preferable in the PublicMarket. - You have a proven record of success leadingsophisticated sales cycles. - Primary focus oncustomer-specific themes and needs. Early engagement with the partnercommunity.

    - You have an IT-specific experience in Digitalnetworking, Software ELA, Data Virtualization, Data analytics, fogcomputing, Cloud-based solutions, Data platform, andorchestration.

    - Strategic account planning, forecasting, quotaattainment, presenting business groundbreaking solutions via salespresentations, and short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunitymanagement. - You should have the ability to deliver businessvalue to both End Users and Partners.


    The main requirementsare:


    • Understanding and experience with federal governmentfunding, budgets, and buying cycles
    • Known to work withselling to C-Level management teams
    • Handling salesquota
    • Knowledge of IT service and delivery
    • Provenexperience in leading a large customer
    • Must be aresultsoriented selfstarter with the ability to articulate Ciscoproduct and business strategies, and craft the demand to closedeals
    • Experience Working with the Partner community Fluent verbally in written English Why Cisco WeAreCisco.
