• Responsibilities:
• Keep a clear and legible log of work activities, ensuring its physical state and conservation.
• Take corrective or preventive actions as needed, clearly explaining the issue.
• Fill out AST for extraordinary, common, or frequent tasks.
• Follow safety principles and quality standards to ensure safe and quality work.
• Control significant environmental aspects of activities, products, and services.
• Clean and inspect parts involved in repairs, maintain work area and workshop.
• Use and handle tools and measuring instruments, accurately recording measurements.
• Operate manual and pneumatic tools.
• Perform cleaning, polishing, drilling, cutting, and insert installation tasks.
• Use measurement instruments, following metrology applied to workshop activities.
• Verify operation results using measuring instruments and make necessary adjustments.
• Create pieces on lathe, interpret cutting piece blueprints, analyze failures in workshop-repaired pieces.
• Support investigation of non-conformity causes when requested by superiors.
• Execute recovery and piece fabrication procedures based on technical literature.
• Report non-conformities, directing deviations to direct superiors.
• Interpret technical information in English, machine recovered pieces through metallization, perform dimensional control using precision tools.
Requirements:
• 5 years of experience in a workshop.
• Proficiency in Boring and Lathe operations, knowledge of Metalizing and Tapping processes.
• Interpretation of cutting piece blueprints, understanding standard times for activities.
• Stay updated with the latest technical information and product modifications.
• Familiarity with conventional machinery and tools, surface treatment, finishing, and measurement.
• Evaluation and Analysis of Failure in workshop-repaired parts, ability to operate overhead crane.
• Knowledge of solvents, hazardous waste management, Caterpillar Technical Literature, basic English knowledge, CNC machines, and language.
