The Enterprise Solutions Architecture Team at Dynatrace is expanding in response to the increasing demand from our enterprise clients for expert guidance in deploying the Dynatrace platform at scale. Our Senior Solutions Architects, many of whom are seasoned developers, play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative solutions that enhance our client engagements.

The solutions we create are frequently utilized by our growing roster of enterprise accounts. As we continue to evolve, we require ongoing development support for solutions such as our expanding online Elevate portal and custom tools that optimize the use of the Dynatrace platform for our clients. Our team is composed of highly skilled technical professionals who face new challenges daily, fostering growth through collaboration with peers and clients.

This full-time position within the Enterprise Solutions Architecture team focuses on three primary responsibilities: assisting clients with complex integration solutions, supporting Enterprise Solutions Architects with key delivery tasks—including presentations, diagrams, data analytics, and hands-on integrations—and contributing to the development of features within our Elevate portal, which serves both ESA content and broader Dynatrace Services Organization needs. Direction for development efforts will be provided by the ESA team.

Team members enjoy exposure to a wide array of technologies, methodologies, and teams across some of the world's leading organizations. While the role can be demanding, it is also incredibly rewarding, with clear pathways for career advancement to positions such as Enterprise/Senior Solution Architect or Managing Architect.

While Senior Solutions Engineers are expected to enhance their skills in development, DevOps, Business Intelligence, cloud technologies, security, and infrastructure practices, they typically do not handle full lifecycle development projects independently. In contrast, a Solution Architect is expected to take full ownership of at least one innovation from design through delivery within a calendar year, while also leading a significant account deployment (over 10,000 hosts). Additionally, a Solution Architect will manage at least one Lab Environment and Initiative, along with all related documentation and best practices.

• Experience with Dynatrace or APM solutions is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of development experience in at least one object-oriented programming language, with a solid understanding of byte-code based runtimes (e.g., Java, .NET).
• Familiarity with various Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and expertise in at least one.
• Strong understanding of Network and Software Security Models, protocols, and certificates.
• Knowledge of network topologies, routing, security protocols, load balancers, and capacity planning.
• Experience with container-based solutions (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to lead multi-day meetings for technology assessments.
• Understanding of Application and Infrastructure Monitoring & Observability is a plus.
• Proficiency in both Linux and Windows operating systems; advanced Linux skills are a plus.
• Ability to develop automation and repeatable processes/scripts for application deployment and management.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.) is advantageous.
• Understanding of PaaS concepts and implementations (Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, etc.) is a plus.
• Solid to expert hands-on experience with SQL.
• Strong skills in diagramming and articulating designs and solutions.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, presentation, customer service, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to gather and translate customer requirements into deliverables while collaborating with Project Managers and Directors.
• Comfortable with Software Development Life Cycles, Test Driven Development, and Continuous Integration/Delivery.
• Expertise in database and platform application services is a plus.
• Preference for candidates with web application, database, and support skills.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

Annual salary ranges from $100K to $125K, plus benefits including Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401k, and PTO. Total compensation may vary based on experience, education, and location.
