About the Role:

The purpose of this role is toprovide leadership and direction for the execution phase of a projectto deliver the approved business objectives, within the constraints ofscope, time, quality and budget, to ensure Project transition toOperations


Main Functions and Accountabilities:

• Manage the execution of the project to ensure safe delivery, and tothe approved quality, schedule, cost and business case targets.
• Drives implementation of project delivery strategies, methodologies,systems and execution plans, including risk and quality managementplans generating actions to mitigate impacts.
• Drivedecisionmaking to ensure constant advancement of the project,minimised delays and setbacks, and guarantees deviations from theexecution plan are adequately managed.
• Ensure resourceavailability to progress the project to plan.
• Manage externalproject relationships proactively and participates on awardingprocesses for execution and/or purchasing packages, leading technicalevaluation of bidders. Represents the project to the Business,Operations and other stakeholders and acts as the Companyrepresentative for contracts.
• Guarantee closeness to Non-Deliveryproject areas and Operations ensuring their needs, timings, prioritiesand availability are considered in addition to convenience fortieins, testing, start up, ramp up, and any other operations relatedmatters, minimizing impacts to Operational Program.
• Manageinteraction with Development by providing input to the Selection &Definition Phase Studies to ensure a smooth transition to Delivery andOperations.
• Drive integration and coordination of otherfunctional inputs required for the delivery of the project,collaborating and establishing an effective cross functionalteam.
• Be accountable for final reporting and lead projectcloseout management

About You:

• Engineer degree,any discipline, entitled.
• Minimum 12 years' experience in miningprojects and at least 5 years leading teams.
• Knowledge andexperience with execution projects.
• Experience in work withmultidisciplinary engineering teams.
• English and Spanish writtenand spoken
