Who are we looking for?:

As (Sr.) ProcessEngineer you will be working on the development & implementation ofinnovation programs within the PE/PP Technology teams focusing ondifferent technology platforms, with global impact in existing andfuture Assets for theorganization.

Qualifications:

- university level(MSc or PhD) in chemical or process engineering.

• Minimum 3 yearsof experience with industrial processes, and/or related industrialfields.

- proficiency in predictive modelling tools (e.g. kinetic,thermo/hydrodynamic modeling)

• Demonstrated experience within thefield of process design engineering.

- willing to grow yourexperience within process development/implementation within anindustrial R&D environment in the field of polyethylene.
- criticalobserver as well as a conceptual and analytical thinker.
- able topresent your project proposals and results in a convincing manner tokey stakeholders (T&I, Business, Market-facing, Manufacturing)
-able to keep abreast of the state of the art in catalyst/processtechnologies and gain knowledge of associated fields anddisciplines.
- able to maintain a network with Universities andinstitutes in polyolefin' s and be able to be set up and maintainexternal collaborations. You are able to set up and maintaincollaborations with other companies as technology suppliers or andcooperation's with e.g. Joint Venture partners.
- a team player butyou are also able to work independently on your contribution.
-persevering and challenging attitude towards your work environment,but you can also accept other views.
- fluent in oral and writtenEnglish. Additional languages are a plus.
Duties andresponsabilities
***: - As (Sr.) Process Engineer you willbe working on the development & implementation of innovation programswithin the PE/PP Technology teams focusing on different technologyplatforms, with global impact in existing and future Assets for theorganization.


Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Toenhance polyolefin production processes & product performance in termsof output, quality, consistency and costs.
• To work in amultidisciplinary setting within the Technology & Innovationorganization where you will collaborate with different disciplines(business, manufacturing, marketfacing organizations), where projectapproval, execution and implementation need to be secured.
• Todefine, execute and manage development projects. You have to aligngoals and priorities and identify the activities and resources neededto achieve these goals.
• To develop and communicate a vision ofnew developments in polyolefin process technologies.
• To assesscompetitor landscape and define gaps and opportunities to improve theorganization product portfolio.
• To bring the technologicalchallenges of commercial plants into T&I and solve those throughtranslating them to pilot plant scale
• To translate businessand/or T&I strategy into plans
• To guide and coach the juniorcolleagues in the field of material science
• To keep thescientific standards of the reports.
