    Generation Chile seeks to recruit an
    Executive Director whoembodies our values, understands the future challenges andopportunities for the organization, can drive the organization and itspeople to success, and is passionate about creating impact in Chile'seducation to employment ecosystem.

    The Executive Director is afull-time role responsible for leading the scaling up of GenerationChile's operations, providing strategic direction to the organization,and managing key stakeholder relationships.

    The Executive Directorwill report directly to the Generation Chile Board. S/he will be theprimary point of contact for senior leadership at GenerationGlobal. The position will be based in Santiago City.
    Compensation and benefits package competitive with NGO industrystandards.


    TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU'LL NEED:


    • Strongtrack record and minimum 10 years of business work experience with 5+years of direct leadership experience.
    • Leadership in setting astrategic vision, prioritizing & defining initiatives and outliningits roadmap.
    • Track record setting up, scaling up and operationsprograms (particularly those with multiple sites or projectssimultaneously) and experience holding accountability for large scaleoperations.
    • Experience in building close, trustbased workingrelationships with CXOlevel positions within corporates, foundations,government, etc.
    • Experience of starting/running aneducation/training/talentrelated organization or techrelatedstartup, and knowledge of the nonprofit landscape is preferable butnot required.
    • Experience in private and/or public sectorfundraising, preferable across the skills/education sector.
    • Demonstrated passion for Generation's mission and vision.
    • Abilityto lead, develop and manage a diverse team.
    • Entrepreneurial,creative, innovative, proactive mindset required for startups thatdemands taking ownership of targets and seeking opportunities forcontinuous improvement / growth.
    • Positive, solutions and impactoriented attitude, drive for excellence, selfreflective and open tofrequent feedback from multiple stakeholders
    • Datadriven approachin presenting/influencing and informing decisions.
    • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills with ability to tailormessaging to a variety of audiences, including written and spokenSpanish and English.
    • Integrity, missiondriven, and selfdirectedwork ethic with commitment to working collaboratively with amanagement team of senior professionals.
    • Experience withfinancial planning and ability to manage budgetsefficiently

    WHAT YOU'LL DO:


    Develop strategy andensure execution.

    • Set the vision and overall strategy forGeneration Chile, ensuring alignment across all relevant stakeholders,including the Generation Chile Board, Generation Global leadership,and Generation LatAm COO.
    • Set and deliver against realisticgoals, agreed in consultation with the leadership team.
    • Overseethe design and implementation of all operational initiatives includingrecruitment, training & placement, in accordance with programspecifications & funding limits.
    • Ensure consistent communicationwith larger Generation organization, including ensuring updates andleading regular alignment calls.
      Build and manage externalrelationships.
    • Build and manage relationships with multipleimplementation partners, and ensure their adherence to Generationmethodology, practices, and standards.
    • Ensure targets andtimelines for set up and scale up are met.
    • Manage relationshipswith employer partners, funders and other partners providing resourcesto Generation in the form of vacancies and/or funding.
    • Buildrelationships with corporate, charitable trusts, international andnational grantgiving bodies, chambers of commerce etc., with a viewto maintaining a reputable public image and creating new opportunitiesfor partnerships/fundraising.
    • Represent Generation Chile, and itsprograms, in all public forums.
      Drive funding andsustainability.
    • Develop funding and sustainability strategy,and value proposition for potential funding partnerships andcollaboration.
    • Execute funding strategy in line with revenuetargets, by cultivating and securing new funding lines from employers,government, private sector donors, and foundations.
    • EnsureGeneration Chile delivers against commitments and conditionsassociated with all funding sources.
    • Drive fund appropriation tothe right projects and be accountable for funds and usage.
    • Ensuretimely reporting and due diligence as per expectations of partners,especially funding partners, to ensure positive outcomes and sustainedrelationships.
      Team building and coaching.
    • Build,manage and develop a team to achieve ambitious revenue and growthtargets.
    • Recruit, train and promote human resources as necessaryfor the organization.
    • Define a career path for team members.
