    As VP, Media SPLA you will expand the Media.Monks Spanish Speaking LATAM capabilities in both online and offline media. Particularly you will focus on advanced digital media and its intersection with Content, Business Consulting and Data in search of forging a new model that unites all three in a seamless fashion. You will bring a mature view of our clients' business and you will help deliver world-class solutions driven by the capabilities of the global Media.Monks team.

    This role is right for you if you have a demonstrated track record of innovation and growth. You should be comfortable delivering internal vision and strategy, industry thought leadership, strong operational teams and executive level relationships. We strongly prefer a business leader who has a proven track record of success in challenging situations and can demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit to seek innovative solutions. We are looking for a world class expert in enterprise level media buying with strong relationships within the major media regional and global media partners.

    Responsibilities

    • Own P&L responsibility for all media activities in SPLA (Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia).
    • Collaborate with global media teams to set and operationalize vision and strategic direction to grow the Media.Monks media team in SPLA.
    • Establish a media team that is integrated across the Media.Monks global organization and can plan and execute world class media campaigns within SPLA and globally.
    • Work with a global team to realize Media.Monks' vision of a tightly aligned and integrated team across media, content, business consulting and data.
    • Deliver on aggressive growth targets and establish Media.Monks as the fastest growing agency in the SPLA region.
    • Become a senior member of the executive team at Media.Monks SPLA and a leader within the Media.Monks global organization.
    • Act as a key voice in the industry representing the Media.Monks media team in press, writing and speaking engagements.
    • Work to identify and coordinate with regional media partners including acting as the primary point of contact in rate negotiations and joint business plans

    Qualifications

    • Proven track record of growth, innovation, and results in advanced media.
    • 10+ years of marketing experience, specifically across digital media
    • Integrated media (including traditional media channels) experience strongly preferred
    • Experience in an agency leadership role in the SPLA market
    • A critical thinking, problem solver able to mobilize large cross functional teams
    • Demonstrated ability to execute large-scale strategies and programs, with experience managing diverse set of marketing programs mapping back to larger strategy and achieving key objectives
    • A vision for the future of media for enterprise clients
    • A comfort level with data and analytics to measure and optimize programs
    • Strong communication and relationship building skills with key partners and stakeholders
    • Strong project management skills to organize teams across complex projects
    • Extensive Network of Industry Leadership & Ability to drive people and the business in an inspiring way.
    • Enthusiastic people manager able to hire talented people and inspire others throughout the organization.
    • Have the extensive knowledge of key competitors in the space, and the ability to position Media.Monks SPLA as a market leader.
    • You work hard but like to enjoy what you do and have fun in the process
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills, both in Spanish and English.
