    As a Field Service Engineer, you will execute service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. You will be in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams, acting as the technical point while delivering quality and satisfying customer service. In this role you will be responsible for providing routine maintenance and on-site or remote technical support. The position involves days of travel, as you will be providing hands-on assistance at customer sites.

    Your responsibilities

    • Serve the installed base of ABB MOSE Drives, low and medium voltage Frequency Variators.
    • Review of Drives and modifications requested by the factory.
    • Warranty care. Perform service tasks such as equipment installation and commissioning and routine maintenance.
    • Identify technical problems and perform analysis through remote or on-site activity in different service categories (installation and commissioning, routine maintenance, retrofits, upgrades, replacement, etc.)
    • Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing the work of the Service in accordance with the offer and customer expectations.
    • Provide recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service.

    Your background

    • Bachelor's degree in Electric, Electronic or Automation Engineering.
    • Flexibility and availability to manage critical situations.
    • Empathy with internal and external clients and the work team.
    • Proactive, good interpersonal relationships and work under pressure.
    • Critical and constructive perspective oriented to safety with a willingness to work under industrial safety standards.
    • 5 years of experience with drives and electric motors
    • Availability to travel (70% of the time).
    • Intermediate – advanced English level.
