      Your responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Communicate clear Communication strategy and ensure that it is reflected in the part of the organization, in order to protect and enhance Novartis business and reputation.
    • Manage the establishment, development and coordination of communication plans inline with strategic goals.
    • Manage the implementation of Communication policies and processes to ensure consistency of Novartis brand position. Manage crisis communication planning, readiness, and response capabilities.
    • As the Head of Communications and Engagement, member of the Chilean leadership team, responsible for all external and internal communication for Novartis Innovative Medicines (IM) in Chile, including interaction with relevant media contacts, patient communities, and associate engagement communications. Additionally responsible for the design and implementation of strategic highimpact programs that drive leadership across key therapeutic areas and build corporate reputation among key stakeholders. Strong collaboration with Region and Global C&E team to leverage programs and share best practices across Innovative Medicines.
    • Ensure consistency of Novartis brand and market position in external communications, by ensuring alignment at the Division, and brand levels, and by putting in place necessary communicationcontrol processes.
    • Ensure a discipline agnostic view to identify biggest opportunities for impact across IM in subdisciplines of communications/public relations and patient advocacy.

    Minimum requirements

    What you'll bring to the role:

    • Spanish and English at an advance level. Excellent written and oral communications skills.
    • University degree & Advanced degree in communications, journalism, social sciences or communications related field desired.
    • Extensive experience in PR or Communications positions, including highlevel involvement in media and stakeholder relations.
    • Experience in pharmaceutical industry communications positions, and excellent understanding of Pharma communication concerns regarding public, media, shareholder and employee relations is a plus; experience in multimatrixed organization with understanding of managing multiple stakeholders.
    • Experience in crisis management, and proven record of managing crises through effective communication channels.
    • Demonstrated ability for influencing and building successful stakeholder relationships, particularly with patient groups and/or civil society.
    • Proven capability of strategic thinking and developingimplementing strategic communication activities.
