JobStatement:

The Project Logistics Specialist is responsible inmanaging project deliveries in line with project schedule, budgetingby collaborating with customers and external suppliers, and supportingthe Project Logistics Manager in project deliveries


Jobduties and Responsibilities:

Plans, manages and monitorslogistics of projects according to project specific contractualrequirements and corporate processes and guidelines.

SupportsProject Logistics Manager in planning, manages and monitors oflogistics in plant solution projects according to project specificcontractual requirements and corporate processes asrequired.

Selects and purchases logistics services according tocorporate sourcing rules.
Manages shipping and transportationschedules according to project /sales order deliveryschedule.
Manages and drives service levels received by LogisticsService Providers at project level.
Prepares required logistics andcustoms clearance documentation.
If applicable, supports L/Cinvoicing and documentation.
Supports Customer in customsissues.
Monitors and reports deviations to logistics budget andproject delivery schedule.
Manages logistics relatedclaims.
Manages any non-project related miscellaneousshipments.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications &Experience:


Education/Training:

Bachelor's degree inSupply Chain Management or Logistics preferred, or equivalentexperience


Experience:

3+ years' experience in similarrole.
Previous experience in Heavy Equipment Manufacturing is anasset


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Excellent verbaland written communication skills.
Ability to work with littlesupervision and also in team environment.
Must know how to handlepeople, be personable, well organized and detail oriented. Mustmaintain professional demeanor under heavy work load or stressfulsituations.
Computer skills to include experience with Microsoftoffice environment.
Work in an environment with internationalobjectives.
Ability to understand issues domestically andinternationally and must communicate effectively with clients.
Beself directed and motivated.
