Description:

We are looking for an experienced Sr. EngineeringManager based in South America to join our growing team.

In thisposition, you will lead multi-discipline engineers on our VarsityTutors For Schools engineering team - responsible for the technologiespowering Nerdy's learning systems dedicated to supporting an evergrowing number of students in the US education system.

In addition,you will both inform and grow Nerdy engineering culture, furtheringour drive to be the best place on earth to be a technologist.

Qualifications:
-5+ years of successful leadership experience

• Atscale technicalarchitecture you've designed and built complex yet performantsystems.
• Agile development (Scrum or Kanban)

  Responsibilities
• Be responsible for theoperation and innovation of the technology platform helping thousandsof students be the best they can be.
• Own delivering insightful,accurate and easily consumable student data to school administrators,teachers and parents.
• Provide direction and oversight ontechnical architectures and systems design.
• Support ourengineering staff's daily feeding and care: championing objectives,monitoring progress, and removing blockers.
• Continually monitor,improve and optimize your teams' performance the humans on your teamand the systems they've created.
• Above all, you inspire, mentorand advocate for the engineers entrusted to your care so they canreach their full potential. This position is a fulltime remoteopportunity we've been remotefriendly for years, and that isn'tgoing away.
