It's an opportunity to be partof something special. **Role Overview** The _Director,International Logistics Procurement - Global_ is a key leadership rolewithin the Global Procurement organization for the Logistics category,and reports into Facilities, Capital & Logistics Procurement. The roleleads Procurement for International Freight, and develops the globallogistics and distribution strategy, progressing this intoimplementation worldwide. **In this role you will ** beresponsible for Logistics Procurement, owning the strategy for keycomponents of a global logistics and warehousing annual spend of£500m. The role interacts with senior stakeholders in Supply Chain anddirectly covers the spend on global logistics for air, ocean, andground services. You will directly own and manage Haleon's 4PLcommercial relationships and define the commercial strategy forengaging further logistics partners, both global and domestic. To besuccessful, you will: - Build and deliver a Procurementstrategy across functions or business units that delivers the highestquality service and supply while significantly impacting cost savingsacross business units or supply network.
- Plan and lead highvalue, long-term, complex negotiations in areas of spend thatsignificantly impacts the success or failure of a Haleon businessunit.
- Act as a strong business partner to your customer groups todeliver relevant strategic procurement solutions.
- Partner withBusiness Units, Global Logistics and other Haleon stakeholders toperformance manage our logistics suppliers to deliver the requiredlevels of service.
- Utilise extensive external supplier and marketknowledge to define the supply chain strategy and driveinnovation. **Key Responsibilities** Strategy creation &execution: - Create or contribute to comprehensive global andregional sourcing strategies for Logistics, Warehousing, and CustomsBrokerage spend categories, operating with a strategic mindset and inclose collaboration and alignment with the Global Category Leader orCross Business Unit Category Leaders. This will include owningHaleon's 4PL strategies for global logistics spanning air, ocean, andground modes.
- Lead or support opportunity identification for thelogistics categories through activities such as top-down businessreview, budget/expense reviews, or innovation sessions.
- SupportGlobal Procurement's participation in external benchmarking efforts.Deliver intelligence on external best practices for logistics insupport of Haleon's efforts in ongoing continuous improvement andinnovation. Enhance relative maturity and capabilities throughtransformation programs, benchmarking, and execution efforts.
-Define and contractually implement logistics KPI's in alignment withoverall logistics goals.
- Enable the logistics category strategyalignment between central programs, such as Sustainability,Policy/Risk/Compliance, Supplier Diversity, or Supplier RelationshipManagement.
- Have a clear understanding of how global and regionalstrategies affect local markets and how global and regional strategiesalign.
- Be the global and/ or regional expert for definedlogistics spend categories. Benefit delivery: - Deliverglobal, regional, and in country benefits identified in strategiesthrough effective commercial strategy execution.
- Create anddeliver effective regional and global budgets agreed with keystakeholders and Finance in accordance with the Spend ManagementFramework and fully aligned with global budgets.
- Support thealignment of Global Procurement inputs into country Business Unit (BU)updates, enabling a category-oriented procurement organization toeffectively maintain matrix relationships to keystakeholders. Business partnering & stakeholder manage
