    Account Director

    The Account Director develops andimplements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes needs to driverevenue for the entire Genesys suite of products.

    It is anextremely critical role in helping us realize our goal of providingour customers with an unequaled customer experience.

    The AccountDirector has the unique challenge of understanding our customers'needs and strategic objectives to uncover how Genesys can best servethem in achieving their objectives.

    At the same time, must act as aninfluencer, connector, and coordinator to make sure that we arepulling together the right team, at the right time, and delivering thebest CX in such a way that our customers come to trust and rely onGenesys even more.


    Responsibilities:


    • Meetingand/or exceeding goals including, but not limited to, revenue,customer growth, and sales expenses.
    • Managing forecasts,pipelines, and predictability for revenue achievement.
    • Managingthe entire sales lifecycle of transactions to ensure visibility intoand predictability of the leadtoclose process.
    • Ensuring andenabling the highest levels of professionalism.
    • Acting as aGenesys representative to maintain positive relationships with allemployees, customers, partners, and shareholders.
    • Providingtimely and positive resolution of escalated salesrelated issues.
    • Communicating with key customers, business partners and executives onsignificant issues and accomplishments.
    • Manages and develops ateam of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, andtraining new reps on the Genesys sales process.
    • Sells andpromotes the sales of Genesys products to customers includingnegotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of thesale.
    • Participates in strategic and tactical planning for thedivision.
    • Building a relationship with key players in theircustomer accounts.
    • Penetrating the customer account at all levelsand all subsidiaries.
    • Becoming a trusted advisor on Genesysproducts/solutions to meet the needs of their customer accounts.
    • Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue.
    Generatesand achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predictsrevenue on a monthly basis.

    • Manages escalations.
    • Conductsweekly progress meetings with sales team.
    • Assists in thedevelopment of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategicobjectives.
    • Regularly interacts across functional areas withsenior management or executives to ensure objectives are met.
    • Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others insensitive situations important

    Requirements:

    - +10years sales management experience within technology industry.

    • Ability to hire and train new sales representatives.
    • PeopleManagement and leadership Skills.
    • Be a "High Energy",resultsoriented achiever and a team player willing to work in ademanding and dynamic environment.
    • Demonstrated track record insoftware sales.
    • Excellent verbal and written communicationsskills: produce materials, deliver presentations, and perform generaleducation.
    • Ability to represent the company at senior executivelevels.
    • Able to develop proposals and manage the sales cycle withminimum supervision while providing regular updated on progress andchallenges.
    • Bachelor's degree and Post/Master/MBA in relatedareas
