    JobDescription:


    • Our Information Management (IM) disciplinedevelops and optimises the engine that powers Anglo American's digitaland technology ecosystems, enabling our people to reimagine the wayswe mine, work, and operate. The IM team comprises highly specialisedexperts who consistently push the boundaries of digital, technology,and automation—innovating to drive a smarter, safer, and moresustainable enterprise.
      The purpose of the Regulatory ControlSystems Specialist is to advise and drive the implementation ofRegulatory Control Systems, Equipment and Process Simulation Systems,and Plant Asset Information Management Systems aimed optimisingbusiness processes for sustainable business results. **KeyResponsibilities include:
    • Contribute towards the vision andstrategy for a Groupwide Regulatory Control Systems and Plant AssetInformation Management Systems approach
    • Advise on the selectionand use of specialist Regulatory Control System technology (PLC/DCSRegulatory Control Technology, PLC/DCS based Advanced RegulatoryControl, Digital Twin Simulation technology and other Control Systems)for site commissioning and use thereof
    • Advise on the selectionand use of Plant Asset Information Management Systems
    • Utilisespecialist vendor systems knowledge and manage vendor teams toeffectively deliver on projects
    • Increase "the value in use" ofRegulatory Control Systems and Plant Asset Information ManagementSystems technologies by replicating best practise across theGroup
    • Develop the skills base of site Regulatory Control, DigitalTwin Simulation and Plant Asset Information Management teams in theeffective use of systems technologies
    • Integrate the RegulatoryControl, Digital Twin and Plant Asset Information Systems frameworkwith the Anglo Operating Model on site level
    • Advise on theidentification of systems driven business opportunities at sitelevel
    • Develop and implement effective training programs
    • Evaluate / test new system features on a development environment
    • Capture and manage best practice approach in systems anddocumentation
    • Visibly demonstrate SHE values andprinciples **Qualifications


    • Knowledge** Formalqualifications:

    • An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors /Honours degree or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline:electrical or electronic or quimal engineer
    • Desirable: Apostgraduate qualification (Masters / Doctoral degree or equivalent)in a relevant technical discipline OR a proven track record ofextensive practical experience in a role and context of similarcomplexity Rolespecific knowledge:
    • Track record ofleading translating ideas into practical initiatives to be implementedand a demonstration of successful execution and delivery of RegulatoryControl Systems and Plant Asset Information ManagementSystems
      Technical Skills
    • Implement the most effectivesolutions to drive efficiencies
    • Solve technical and operationalissues in cooperation with relevant stakeholders
    • Devise solutionsto optimise productivity and quality targets by utilising technicalexpertise and cooperating with multidisciplinary teams to highlightand address areas of improvement
    • Proficient in project execution,deployment, quality control, monitoring, and guidingcontractors **Additional Information
