    Purpose:

    As a Sales Manager you are responsiblefor managing a sales staff in the achievement of Depuy Synthes salesto new and established hospital accounts to obtain sales objectivesand greater market penetration.

    You ensure consistent, sustainable andprofitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning,deployment and management of sales personnel.

    You interact andcollaborate with all relevant internal and external partners to (pro-)actively build an environment where sales results will be achieved.

    You identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improveshort
    - and long-term sales and earnings


    Main areas ofresponsibility:


    • Define and implement the commercialstrategy aligned to platforms and specialties Market Potential in Peruand Bolivia.
    • Leads in cultural change; from product to solutionsselling. Manages the development and servicing of the accounts toachieve business sales. Reports sales results against forecasts tosenior management as well as any adjustments made to business plans toensure objectives are met.
    • Establishes incentive plan parametersand sales goals. Reviews and approves quota and accountassignment.
    • Participates in the preparation of sales plans andcampaigns, business plans and product development plans.
    • Developsand monitors departmental budget.
    • Monitors progress and verifiescorrective action has been initiated when necessary.
    • Establishesand manages effective programs to provide mentorship to salesconsultants to build a high performing team.
    • Resolves hardproblems and customer complaints.
    • Collaborates with the BusinessUnit Director in establishing and recommending the most realisticsales strategy and goals for the unit.
    • Creates strong andsustainable relationship with Ethicon & CSS customers and spent enoughtime with the sales teams in the field.
    • Close interaction withLocal Business Leaders to focus on the execution of 5 years StrategicPlan

    Qualifications:


    • Level of Education required:University Degree;
    • Advanced english
    • 6 years of workexperience in sales at least 2 years of experience leadingteams.
    • Previous strategic marketing and sales leadershipexperience.
    • Validated ability to manage complexity & thrives inuncertain/ambiguous circumstances.
    • Strongly involved in strategicand tactical work every single day requiring being able to quicklyzoom in and out
    • Knowledge of the current healthcare market.
    • Demonstrated business success in delivering growth and gainingshare
    • Experience working for a midsize or multinational company,preferred in Medical Devices industry.
    • Ability to connect andeffectively collaborate across a diverse group of business partners ina highly matrixed environment
    • Strong communication skills &influencing skills.
    • Ability to build respect and trust withcustomers, employees and internal partners. Self
