    The role of HR Manager at Canonical:

    Even though we are a smallcompany with fewer than 1,000 colleagues, we work in more around 70countries and require an HR function that thinks and acts globally.

    We're looking for three regional leads that will all report into ourGlobal Head of People.

    You will lead the Americas, EMEA or APAC teamof HR professionals to provide precise compliant HR operations to thebusiness, advise on HR issues across the whole employee life-cycle,and partner with senior leadership in your region.

    You will have ananalytical approach, a keen eye for detail and the ability tointerpret data trends and themes.

    What your day will looklike:

    • Deliver precise, compliant, HR operations in a timelymanner and with the highest degree of accuracy
    • Be accountable fortalent planning, succession, assessments and HR processes that drive ahigh performing team
    • Work with senior managers across thebusiness on performance management, organisational design, employeeengagement and workforce planning
    • Coach and advise managers onthe full spectrum of employee relations issues across multiplecountries
    • Partner with managers to support the delivery ofappropriate training and development programs
    • Use your HRexpertise, energy and business acumen to establish a trustedpartnership with the business in your region
    • Drive diversity,equity, and inclusion initiatives
    • Deliver on businesscritical HRrelated projects globally
    • Present at Canonical events toarticulate Canonical's HR practices
      What we are looking forin you:
    • Degree qualified, with a professional HRqualification (CIPD/SHRM etc)
    • HR experience leading initiativesthat spanned a major region within a technology business (Americas,EMEA or APAC)
    • Experience of working in a remote firstorganisation
    • Demonstrated experience of international HRpartnerships at a senior level
    • Able to use data to make informeddecisions
    • Able to prioritise, manage time effectively and workunder pressure
    • Self motivated, organised, confident, andresultsorientated
    • A clear focus on accuracy
    • Fluent inbusiness English (written and spoken)

    Your base pay will depend on various factors including yourgeographical location, level of experience, knowledge and skills.
