What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Maitenance Specialist who will plan and coordinate the execution of maintenance programs, as well as supervising and providing technical support to contractors, in order to ensure compliance with the established maintenance plan, ensuring the operational continuity of the plant.
What challenges will you face?
- Coordinate maintenance work in wind and photovoltaic parks, monitoring the performance of subcontractors.
- Plan and coordinate of maintenance work in the BoP of the park, controlling the execution of subcontractors and the resources used, ensuring compliance with the quality standards proposed by MRP.
- Keep updated the databases of the control and protection systems of each park.
- Prepare technical reports for the main maintenance aspects of the plants in operation.
- Ensure operation of plant and facility systems in accordance with the established technical specifications and the KPIs described in their contracts, regarding to the availability of facilities.
- Participate in purchasing processes and technical specification of projects.
- Provide technical advice to engineering teams in the development and conceptual design stages of new parks.
- Advise and recommend practices to contractor companies in preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Support technical staff in technical risk activities in equipment and systems.
- Analyze failure events, providing support to the plant managers of each park.
What knowledge do you require?
Educational, knowledge and experience background
- Electrical, Electronic, Civil Engineer or equivalent degree.
- Deep knowledge in control & protection systems, SCADA and telecommunications.
- Knowledge of the main components of a wind / solar power plant.
- Understanding of the main key performance indicators in a wind / solar power plant.
- 45 years of experience in operation and maintenance of wind farms, generation plants, substations, and high voltage lines.
- Demonstrable experience in maintenance of generation plants, substations, among others.
- Demonstrable experience in engineering project management.
- English language is an advantage.
- Organized, efficient and good at prioritizing tasks, delivering on time and quality.
- Good IT skills, including experience with the MS Office suite and SharePoint.
- Excellent skills to work under pressure, attention to detail, without losing the broader scope.
