    What are we looking for in you

    • More than 3 years of relevant business experience.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated analytical, planning and negotiation skills, as well as strategic thinking.
    • High degree of initiative and creativity with the ability to meet deadlines and work with mínimal supervision.
    • Interest in market analysis, sales, accounting.
    • Responsible for developing, building and strengthening longterm relationships with stakeholders including healthcare professionals and distributors.
    • Develops and executes an action plan for each client.
    • Coordinates with the backoffice team (Customer Service, Operations, Marketing, Finance, etc.) to resolve customer requests.
    • English (advanced level) spoken and written.

    Purpose Statement


    Provides support the Country Controller and Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, in order to achieve the overall goals and objectives of Boston Scientific through the effective planning analysis and reporting activities including variance, comparative and trend analysis for divisional sales, gross margins and Sales Rep commissions.

    Participate in the in the development, preparation, analysis and reporting of country financial plans.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Provides key financial support at all Country Business and Plan reviews.
    • Provide sales & financial reporting, valueadded analysis, and continuous improvement of country business processes.
    • Management of Daily Reporting Functions (i.e. Daily Sales and Divisional Product Reports).
    • Provide key Monthly Management Reports (i.e. Day 2 Highlights, Sales file for CBR, President's Club).
    • Works directly with divisional Sales & Marketing Managers in the reporting and analysis of Sales/COGS information to identify issues and opportunities.
    • Produces customer sales / profitability reports and analyzes figures for the Country Controller and Sales & Marketing functions.
    • Key participant in FP&A process, including the preparation and data input of quarterly sales and OPEX plans / annual budgets into Pillar.
    • Analyzes performance trends and provides commentary on sales, operating expenses and other key financial parameters to improve profitability.
    • Provides support and financial advice to Sales/Marketing, on employee commissions plans.
    • Investigates and reports on significant variances to ensure integrity of information and performance against quarterly plans. Helps division remain on target.
    • Conduct basic software and hardware training when needed.
    • Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.
    • Provides input to the Quality committee in finance specific local issues, with the purpose of wither finding a solution form other countries' experiences or providing advice on potential barriers for other countries and local regulations. Drives compliance in all finance related matters (CA&C, SOX, Statutory, monthly Closing). Participates in implementing Quality requirements in all aspects of the Finance Process.
