- About the Role
Purpose of theRole - Provides support and executes tasks in providing thegeneral description of the scope of capital projects and the basis ofdesign required for particular engineering disciplines (such as civil,mechanical, piping, electrical and I&C engineering)
- Strongly aimed to a safety focus.
- Workclosely with the Manager Project Engineering and Engineering Team inphases IPS, SPS, DPS and Execution to ensure project Key PerformanceIndicators (KPIs) are in line with the Base Metals businesstargets.
- Ensure the use of engineering good practices and qualitygoals are met and maintained within the projects.
- Participate inthe engineering workshops (design review, value engineering,maintenance, operability, constructability and HAZOP).
- Participate in the review of scope of work and technical documentsrelated with the engineering disciplines to call for bids for IPS,SPS, DPS studies or execution projects bids.
- Support thedevelopment of discipline engineering standards, processes, templatesand plans for a project/program of capital projects.
- Manage andensure the implementation of Sustainability in Design (SiD) Process inprojects, in all the phases.
- Participate in risk workshops.
- Support the Engineering team in projects, with the identification andimplementation of improvement initiatives, including programmaticopportunities for increased capital efficiency and productivity in thesub function.
- About You
- Civil Engineer, entitled.
- Minimum 3years' experience in mining projects
- Knowledge in miningfacilities as Concentrate Plant, Tailings, Leaching Process, Portfacilities, among others.
