    We are actively searching for a Senior MarineStructural Engineer in our Santiago, Chile office to perform projectmanagement and lead the design of waterfront structures such as piers,bulkheads, breakwaters, shoreline protection systems, small boatharbors, floating platforms and ferry landings.

    This position willalso work with teams across the company on a variety of structuralprojects related to marine and transportation infrastructureengineering.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Establish standards, designapproach and manage the technical analysis of marine structures andfoundations using castinplace/prestressed concrete, steel, andtimber.
    • Provide structural design, perform peer review, andoversee the design of other engineers
    • Assist on Proposals andBusiness Development opportunities with new and existing clients
    • Monitor and report on project scope and budget
    • Activelyparticipate in the training and development of junior staff
    • Provide quality reviews of drawings and calculations
    • Interactdirectly with clients This is a management and design role.
    This individual will be responsible for leading a team as well ascompleting design work.

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree inCivil/Structural engineering; required
    • Master's degree ispreferred
    • 15+ years of experience in marine / waterfrontstructural engineering design, project Management, BusinessDevelopment, and staff training and development; required
    • Knowledge of regional / local client pool and have relationships thatwill help with business development; required
    • Experience as a Sr.
    Project / Program Manager providing structural design, perform peerreview, and oversee the project design

    • Bilingual / multilingualdesired
    • All new hires will be required to successfully completeand pass a preemployment (post offer) background check in compliancewith NIST

    The work takes placemostly in an office environment. Must be able to work flexible hours(across multiple time zones) and to travel as and whenrequired.
