    Purpose of Role: The Workday Centre of Excellence (CoE) supports the management and development of Global Human Resources Information Systems including Workday. The Workday Consultant will manage any issues and to support the continued development of Workday capabilities. They will also act as internal HRIS subject matter experts to support improved adoption and utilization of Workday across Weir.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with local HR teams to triage and resolve HR Information System cases raised and escalating unresolved cases, where required, within the Workday CoE or to the Weir Group IT team.
  • Supporting testing of new Workday functionality delivered through ongoing releases and continuous improvement activity
  • Ongoing management of HR data and Workday process operational controls
  • Increasing adoption and utilisation of Workday and Reports & Dashboards through the provision of training and coaching to HR Team

  • Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Workday is essential, and experience with HR ServiceNow and Microsoft Teams would be desirable.
  • The ideal candidate will be solutions focused, have experience with data and analytics and have a passion for continuous improvement
  • Must have the ability to work in a virtual team setting and work independently/manage their workload effectively.
  • Candidates must be comfortable discussing technical and sometimes quite complex concepts in English. Fluency in other languages will be an advantage.
