    The Fund Manager, Fixed Income will work closely with the CIO todesign and implement our global fixed income investment strategy

    Responsibilities will cover the following:

    • Select, direct andexecute Fixed Income Trades on behalf of the company.
    • Interactwith both internal and external parties to ensure seamless executionon mandated transactions and coordinate the ultimate settlement oftransactions across all asset classes.
    • Develop and monitorassessments on portfolio risks, prepare a report for decisionmaking.
    • Perform and evaluate research, such as detailed companyor industry analyses, to inform financial forecasting, decisionmaking, or valuation.
    • Maintain internal databases of market datasuch as market spreads, deal pricing details, etc.
    • Monitormacroeconomic data and provide market outlook as it affects thevarious investment portfolios
    • Interact with Fund Managers todevelop and implement fund investment policies or strategies.
    • Review and comply with the firm's policies and proactively identifyoperational risks/ control deficiencies.
    • Monitor financial oroperational performance of individual investments to ensure portfoliosmeet risk goals.
    • Maintain Investment portfolios, and report onportfolio performance to management.
    • Interact with clientsthrough portfolio update meetings and provide investmentrecommendations.
    • Monitor regulatory law changes to ensureInvestment compliance or to capitalize on developmentopportunities.
    • Attend investment briefings or consult financialmedia to stay abreast of relevant investmentmarkets

    Requirements:


    • Minimum of a bachelor'sdegree, preferably with a concentration in Economics, Finance,Accounting, Technology, or Engineering
    • At least 7 years ofInstitutional experience at a trading firm.
    • Has previousexperience in macroeconomic research, fund management and should bevery interested in and follow global markets
    • Master's degree isan added advantage
    • Must have a CFA certification or is in theprocess of acquiring one (1)
    • Excellent written & oralcommunication skills
    • Experience with Blackrock's AladdinPortfolio Management system desired
    • Proficiency in Bloomberg,Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

    • Minimum of 2nd class lower in first degree (ProfessionalQualifications is an advantage)
    • Minimum of 23 years SoftwareTesting experience
