    • About the Role
      Purpose of theRole
    • To provide coordination and support in capital medium andlarge projects related with Tailings. Will be working closely with theManager Project Engineering, Engineering Team and Project/StudyManager of projects in phases IPS, SPS, DPS and EXE to providediscipline engineering expertise and to coordinate disciplineengineering resources deployed into a study team for the developmentof discipline engineering.

    Main Functions andAccountabilities:


    • Strongly aimed to a safety focus.
    • Coordinates the development of project discipline engineeringstrategy, standards, processes, systems and plans for a projectprogramof capital projects.
    • Monitors the development of the disciplineengineering deliverables so that schedule slippage can be monitored,and the effects minimized.
    • Leads, coaches and mentors teammembers to ensure delivery against performance targets.
    • Capturelessons learnt from development & delivery of Capital Project forincorporation into continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Collaborates with the Manager Project Engineering to provide technicalexpertise to support the project's integrated scope, cost & schedulerequirements
    • Leads the document preparation for engineeringtender process.
    • Coordinates execution of risk and qualitymanagement plans to assure effective of management the project'sdiscipline engineering scope of work.
    • Identifies and implementsimprovement initiatives, including programmatic opportunities forincreased capital efficiency and productivity in thesubfunction.
    • Provides Discipline Engineering input to valueimprovement practices.
    • Monitors adoption of Operation's technicaland discipline engineering standards into the program scope.
    • Collaborates to create new technical and discipline engineeringstandards where required for the delivery of the program scope ofwork.
    • About You
    • Civil Engineer, entitled.
    • Minimum 15 years'experience in mining projects.
    • Knowledge and experience withcontractor's tender process, experience in cost estimate, executionplans and scheduling of medium and large mining projects related withTailings.
    • Competent in the use of relevant software such as MSOffice.
    • Spoken and written English
