    Neurohospitalist Opportunity in Sunny Florida


    A health care system in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a neurohospitalist to join its growing inpatient practice. The new hire will cover two of the four hospitals within the system.

    The hospital is a 624 bed acute care facility that is centrally located in Fort Myers FL, that offers a Neuroscience Institute, orthopedic services, and general surgery.

    The hospital offers 24/7 access to emergency care and minimally invasive catheter procedures to treat stroke, as well as a dedicated neuroscience intensive care unit.

    The health system has a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center with two other hospitals certified Primary Stroke Centers. They are the area's only Level II Trauma Center and DNV Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center.

    One facility is a 362 bed Level II Trauma Center serving their County and the surrounding areas, 24/7 ER with exceptionally trained staff, and houses the Rehabilitation Hospital.
