Job Description and Requirements

Platform Engineer
Our team builds platforms for distributed computing. We solve problems facing efficient use of computers and storage systems.
We are looking for a team member who is passionate about building software that others use, and who enjoys working with people and helping others out.
Responsibilities
Research, design, develop, document, and test software programs built by us or the opensource communities.
Integrate, benchmark, and profile software, and investigate problems in such works.
Find and build new solutions for technical problems facing engineering computing.
Learn engineering practices in design, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Key Qualifications
Previous internship in software engineering with proven record of good performance.
Proficient with some of C++/C/Python/Golang programming languages.
Familiar with TCP/IP networking, file systems, storage systems, or cloud computing.
Motivated, practical, and innovative in handling engineering problems.
Preferred Experience
Work experience in handling computer system level issues (filesystem, networking, etc.).
Handson experience with successful opensource or commercial software design and deployment.
Previous experience with EDA, HPC, or cloud computing is a plus.
Desirable Background
Interested and excited about building computer systems.
Good communication skills.
