Position Overview:

The technician will be responsible for the activities of installation and implementation of technological components, commissioning and tests necessary to ensure compliance, in terms of Safety, Quality and Efficiency of the tasks entrusted, respecting internal and Customer regulations.

Specifically in this project, the technologies will be installed in the client's equipment at Minera Escondida Ltd and support will be given to support the installation and commissioning of these components in CAT equipment in the Finning armory centers.

Job Description:

Main Functions of the Position:

Installing, calibrating and commissioning Minestar technology on Caterpillar and nonCaterpillar equipment required to work within the autonomous operation zone. Orbyanigning the tasks prior to the implementation process and after it. (60%)
Execute the controls defined to deliver the technological systems to the client, to ensure that the systems are working in accordance with the requirements of the manufacturers and customers. (20%)
Give feedback to the execution of installation plans by proposing new ideas for continuous improvement in software and onboard hardware of autonomous trucks and equipment working in the AOZ. (10%)
Support TSC Tickets to Caterpillar and track issues that arise during installation. (5%)
Execute the controls in the procedures, fatality standards and instructions of the AHS installation tasks (5%)

Specific Skills:

Management of computer tools in Windows, Word, Excel and power point environment.
Proficiency in basic English
Knowledge of FTP programs, Terrain Office, Telnet and Tyresense.
Management of risk management variables and environmental care.
Driver's license B and D.
Desirable knowledge of autonomous systems for trucks and technology systems

Knowledge:

This role requires knowledge of the technological products applied to mining and what their contribution is to the client's value chain.
Notions about Networking and wireless communication networks.
Extensive knowledge of electronics applied to mining technology systems

Responsibility:
Perform the installation and configuration of the onboard hardware components of the equipment operating in the autonomous zone.

Execute the procedures of installation of components, configuration and calibration of autonomy of Caterpillar trucks, according to the established standard.

Execute the procedures related to the resolution of problems in the field of AHS components of autonomous trucks, according to the established standards.

Education and Experience:

Electronic technician, with extensive experience in installation of heavy mining machinery technologies, Experience in electronics: automotive, communications or control systems. Knowledge in dispatch systems hardware / MineStar. Desirable knowledge in satellite positioning systems.
