Purpose
Provide engineering services to Worley and its customers. You will be responsible for leading a team to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and specifications.

  • Responsibilities
  • Resource planning around the project, communicating these needs to the Discipline Manager.
  • Works to resolve crossdiscipline, supplier and customer issues.
  • Ensures that discipline technical work and team activities comply with all health, safety, environmental and security requirements.
  • Ensures team member compliance with generally accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements and customer specifications. Supports standardization of equipment specifications, drawings and document templates.
  • Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications wherever feasible and legal.
  • Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence. Supports verification, peer reviews and incorporation of comments and findings.
  • Participates in project execution strategy and planning. Knows the project and owns the scope / cost / time requirements of the discipline, ensures the team meets expectations and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure project success.
  • Works with the Project Management Team to take corrective action regarding any issues, staffing requirements, scope changes, progress or other events that may affect project completion and/or profitability.
  • Plans discipline quality, oversees quality activities, conducts and participates in squad verification, recommends improvements and takes action when necessary.
  • Ensures technical problems are defined with alternative solutions, pros/cons established for multiple solutions and recommendations made through official project documents such as technical consultations, technical deviations, etc.

More than 8 years of experience in engineering areas leading work teams for mining projects.

  • Mining projects.
  • Conceptual, prefeasibility, feasibility and detailed engineering.
  • Experience in field work in the Piping area.
Development of:


  • Piping design
  • Hydraulic design
  • Material classification
  • GA Design
  • MTO.
  • 3D design experience
