Team Overview and Job responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced CFO Chile & Peru to help us shape the future.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managing organization's financial and accounting operations in Chile & Peru.
  • To Develop and monitor a financial plan to support the company's overall strategic plans and objectives.
  • Maintain an effective Internal Accounting and Administrative Control system that minimizes the risks of losses in critical areas of the business, ensuring: the integrity of accounting figures and records, adherence to corporate policies, local procedures and policies.
  • Responsible for the relationship with internal and external auditors for financial or fiscal purposes.
  • Provide timely Financial Information for decisionmaking, including issuing financial statements, analyzing them, and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports to the company. In addition, the preparation of the annual budget, periodic forecasts and its monitoring through the use of key indicators of performance of the KPI's business.
  • Support sales activities with customer visits, timely approval of credit limits, bonds and guarantees, quotes, price analysis, customer profitability, inventory rotations, etc.; managing the company's working capital and Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC).
  • Manage the company's Financial Resources, ensuring effective collection and payment management, cash and surplus cash management, credit availability, as well as relationships with Banks and Financial Institutions.
  • Review and control expenses, costs and variations to guide the management of different areas of the business, promoting savings opportunities and more efficient use of available resources.
  • Provide strong, forwardlooking analytical leadership.
  • Partner with senior leaders to push the boundaries of current and future departmental goals and strategies. Clearly articulate the key drivers of the business.
  • Identify staffing and training needs, evaluate employee performance, and coach Accounting and Finance staff.
  • Build confidence and selfassurance.
Who are we looking for?

  • You hold a degree in Professional in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Industrial or Financial Engineering.
  • Master of Business Administration, Finance or Business Administration.
  • A fastlearner professional.
  • More than 5 years of experience in related positions.
  • Fluent in English (required).
  • Resource management.
  • Experienced in the following pillars: (1) accounting, inventory costing and internal control, (2)
Treasury and bank relationship, (3) FP&A, (4) pricing and (5) risk management:
metal derivatives, FX NDF's and credit management.

  • Continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ethical responsibility.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in crossfunctional teams.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Flexibility and capability to manage changes during the work.
  • Knowledge of Financial Analysis, Local Tax Legislation and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Resultsoriented, analytical, strategic thinker, leadership, decisionmaking ability, control skills, teamwork.
