We are looking for a Technical Lead, Development to join SOVOS

Experienced in modern web development, the
Technical Lead demonstrates full-stack skills, are excited by an opportunity to evolve technology, and passionate about mentoring and developing up-and-coming developers.

This team is an integral part of Sovos' success as it supports multiple functions within the company to provide forecasts, pipeline and sales reporting processes, on-going support and maintenance of our business systems and data as well as they perform various ad-hoc business analyses to aid in Sovos' goal to Solve Tax for Good.

_ What are my responsibilities going to be, more specifically?_

Integrate technology, process, test and business practices.
Serve as a technical mentor and coach to other software engineers.
Lead and elevate performance of software development teams including direct reports.
Build a collaborative partnership with our Product Management team.
Champion a culture of code quality and continual learning and growth throughout the department.
Conduct peer code reviews to ensure quality.
Define & maintain design specifications and standards as well as coach others in adopting them

What We Need From You:

Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a leader
Ability to achieve results in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
Skilled in software/systems architecture.
Expert in serviceoriented design principles (design patterns, REST).
Expert in developing resilient services in C# or Java.
Experience with Javascript frontend technologies (React, Angular JS) as a plus.
Experience with micro service patterns as a plus.
