GHD has a bilingual Human Resources graduate opportunity for our People (HR) team. This opportunity will supporting our Canadian Business and be located in our Santiago, Chile office. We value a collaborative, solution focused spirit and a desire to embrace new insights and fresh thinking.

As a member of our People Team, we will provide you with a well-rounded, broad range of Human Resources experiences enabling you to grow into the business and human resources professional you want to be Liaising with, and in support of, our People team, you will also have opportunities to build your networks and learn from and work with some of GHD's most promising professionals.


Duties and responsibilities:


  • Respond to basic HR inquiries (inperson and/or virtually) and provide general guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and managers across Canada
  • Learn GHD people software and systems and advise employees on best practices
  • Provide support to People Business Partners and People Leaders
  • Provide our employees with an excellent employee onboarding and offboarding experience
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate HR records and documentation
  • Assist with the administration of HR policies and procedures, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
  • Involved in auditing of employee files and records
  • Conduct stay, engagement and exit interviews
  • Learn GHD people software and systems and advise employees on best practices
  • Run and analyze various employee/people team reports
  • Investigate and provide informative feedback on People Listening data
  • Participate in Centers of Excellence (COEs) initiatives such as; global rewards and benefits, talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development and wellness
  • Engage with Young Professionals team

For success in this position, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field with less than two years' related experience post-degree
  • Fluently bilingual with strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
  • Outstanding MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to focus on small details and identify discrepancies or errors in data
  • Strong sense of motivation and a thirst for knowledge
  • A creative problemsolver with a mindset to identify ways to enhance and always improve our employee experience
  • A willingness to be ready to help with tasks big or small
  • Enjoy building relationships
  • Ability to work both within a team and independently
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects and tasks in a fastpaced environment
