Position Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the overall life cycle of development efforts including technical requirements gathering, scoping, design, development, testing/debugging, and delivery.
  • Design, write, and deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of AudienceView's products.
  • Foster and Champion agile/scrum/Kanban environment, leading and guiding the engineering team.
  • Build an effective highperforming team by driving the recruiting and hiring of highcaliber software engineers, developing and managing the team, conducting performance reviews, and enabling their professional development.
  • Drive Operational excellence and advocate continuous improvement, set and support a culture of resultsdriven quality, with efficient processes and strong transparency.
  • Strategize and advocate for strong engineering excellence and bring in their own software development best practices while following industry standards.

Qualifications:


  • Professional experience in software development/engineering
  • Experience leading and mentoring software engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers and tech leaders.
  • Computer Science fundamentals in objectoriented design, data structure, algorithm design, problemsolving, and complexity analysis
  • Experience taking a leading role in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Experience with Agile, Object-Oriented modeling, and architecture design.
  • Experience mentoring software engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers and tech leaders.
  • Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, and describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
  • A strong track record of managing a team, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and professional development.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and keep projects on schedule.
  • BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to Have:


  • Experience with Azure Cloud Services such as AKS, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure APIM, Azure Key Vault, Azure AD SSO
  • Experience and capability with cloud infrastructure systems (Kubernetes, Azure ecosystems)
  • Experience influencing software engineers' best practices within your team
  • Handson expertise in many technologies, ranging from frontend user interfaces to backend systems and all points in between
  • Experience delivering customer/clientfocused innovative and simple solutions.
