Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community.

Major Duties:


Major Duties


Provide information on the use of facility equipment, hours of operation, and general guidelines regarding the facility and its operations to authorized patrons.

Ensures adherence to regulations and safety procedures. Monitors and checks the security of premises. This position requires the ability to work at other Semper Fit Department as needed.

May assist in maintaining routine reports and/or perform clerical, custodial and/or general maintenance duties as needed. May operate a cash register, receive payments and make change.

Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Six months of experience in the assigned recreational activity is desired but not required.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification is preferred but not required.
  • Skill to learn MCCS and Semper Fit policies, rules and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics.
  • Basic computer and/or cash register comprehension and knowledge.
  • This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.

As part of the employment process, Human Resources Division may obtain a Criminal Record Check and/or an Investigative Consumer Report.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI).

For all positions requiring access to firearms or ammunition, the Federal Government is prohibited from employing individuals in these positions who have ever been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, or a felony crime of domestic violence adjudged on or after 27 November 2002.

Direct Deposit of total NET pay is mandatory as a condition of employment for all appointments to positions within MCCS.
