  • P&L "owner" for the merchant: you should keep oversight of your merchant's topline and P&L evolution.
  • Board of Directors: lead planning, strategy, validation, negotiation and agreements to be reviewed on by Merama's Merchant Board, on a quarterly basis.
  • Business Plan process leader: define the business levers that will be executed jointly with the merchant

Coordinate business planning process:
discovery sessions, ideation, initiative sizing, budget, governance setup, execution start.

  • Merchant expert: immerse yourself completely in the business: understand their category, business processes, team structure, systems and major opportunities to be unlocked.
  • POC: be the main point of contact (POC) for your merchant, understanding all relevant parties in Merama and with the Merchant.
  • Oversight of Inputs: define and track KPIs to ensure the best Selection, Availability, Pricing, and Customer Experience across marketplaces for your merchant.
  • Project manager for Growth: interface and coordinate between the merchant and Merama team to create action plans, mobilize the necessary resources to hit our agreed business objectives. Vouch for the merchant and create a healthy working relation with Merama's team.
  • Manage a high performing team: hire, coach and develop internal Merama team to deliver results.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Have 6-10 years of experience in Retail, e-commerce, Tech related company, or in a Consulting Firm
  • Have negotiated complex deals in the past, in commercial role or in a project management capacity
  • Are results and datadriven, and are able to work towards results in an autonomous and independent manner
  • Experience managing highperformance teams
  • Advanced working knowledge of Spanish and English at a minimum
  • Portuguese a plus
  • Are based in Chile

Desirable qualifications:


  • Have an MBA or similar business background
  • Have worked in Private Equity, managing a business in an operations role
  • Have led a retail or ecommerce team in the past
  • Have extensive experience in creating business plans and delivering on them
  • Are focused on the good of the team and company first, and just want to build something massive
  • Are excited about Ecommerce and the endless opportunities in this industry
  • Are motivated to work in a fastpaced environment close to outstanding professionals with deep human qualities.
