About the Role
Accountabilities:
Works with the Exploration and Exploration HSE Leadership Team, to set the strategic health and hygiene direction for Exploration.
Governs the development and maintenance of technical health and hygiene standards across Exploration.
Participates in routines to provide technical assurance over the delivery of standards relevant to health and hygiene across Exploration.
Monitors health and hygiene performance and control effectiveness across Exploration, benchmarking this globally and externally to identify opportunities for improvement, including the use of advances in technology.
Builds capability in health and hygiene in Exploration HSSE and Operations teams.
Provide input and support for HSE second line assurance activities.

About You

Bachelor degree in occupational health and/or hygiene science
Demonstrated experience (minimum of 10+) with a focus on occupational health and/or hygiene disciplines
Strong leadership and strategic direction setting
Bilingual Spanish and English
Multicountry experience
Demonstrated experience across both the health and hygiene disciplines, preferably in the resources industry and inclusive of time at an operational level.
Experience across multiple commodities and regulatory jurisdictions including exposure from working in global teams implementing improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to influence multiple levels within an organisation, including executive leadership.
Strong communication, engagement and influencing skills, with ability to adapt to suit target audience
