JOB TITLE (#1412):Medical Officer - Los Angeles, CA Region
Minimum of 3 years experience as a practicing physician

Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking a Medical Officer to fill an opening for a care center with multiple locations in Los Angeles, California Region


Requirementsof the Medical Officer:


  • Must be an MD or DO
  • Must have a completed Internal Medicine Residency
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a practicing physician
  • Must have a current unrestricted medical license in applicable state(s)
  • Must be board certified or board eligible
  • Must have a DEA license
  • Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities of the Medical Officer:


  • Will be based out of one of the Los Angeles County region clinics. Occasional rounding to other clinics.
  • Responsible for overseeing and providing internal medicine services to patients.
  • Creates a comprehensive and coordinated plan of care across all care settings including clinics, and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), which take into account medical records, patient and family, primary care physicians, and specialists.
  • Collaborates with clinical ops and care management teams and reviews patients with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Attends to patients and assists nurse practitioners in reviewing cases.
  • Attends to patients and will support panel management of highrisk patients.
  • Collaborates with subspecialty and provider network.
  • On call nights and weekends as scheduled.
  • Hires, trains and oversees Primary care providers and specialists
  • Also involved in supporting the market leadership with network relations with other provider groups.
  • Develops and improves training practices and materials.
  • Supports utilization review and management of subspecialty costs.
  • Participates in the management of clinical divisions.
  • Develops and maintains provider relationships.
  • Partners with market leadership to support organizational goals and market initiatives.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
