    - Glencore Copper is seeking a MineEngineering Study Lead to support the growth and development of our ElPachon Project to be based at our Santiago office in Chile or SanJuan, Argentina office.
    - The Resource Engineering team is arecently established central function supporting existing and futureoperations and projects. The team is fundamental in delivering bestpractice operational performance and long-term strategy at our assets,as well as enabling Glencore's ambitious growth plans.
    - This rolerepresents a significant opportunity to work in a high-performanceteam while supporting world class operations and projectsglobally.**The Opportunity** Reporting to the El PachónTechnical Services Manager, the role will be accountable formanagement and delivery of the Mine Engineering studies for the ElPachon Feasibility Study in line with Glencore Copper's ProjectDefinition Guidelines and Standards.**In this role youwill**: - Lead the El Pachon project in the planning executionand documentation of the mining studies to support the completion ofthe El Pachon Feasibility Study including: - Optimization, MineDesign and Scheduling
    - Mining Fleet selection and technologyoptimization assessments
    - Reserve Estimation and cut-off gradeanalysis
    - Mine Operating and Capital Cost estimation
    - Coverplanning and execution of data collection programs, benchmarking andbest practice studies requiring travel to other miningoperations. **Your training, skills & expertisechecklist**: - Bachelor's Degree in Mine Engineering orsimilar.
    - 15+ years mining industry experience across miningoperations, corporate engineering/consulting and major projectstudies.
    - 8+ years of experience at large open cut metals miningoperations.
    - Significant capability in running mining technicalservices and mine planning departments.
    - Experience in developingand managing high performance teams with a high degree ofautonomy.
    - Demonstrated experience in successfully deliveringadvanced mining studies (Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies) to ahigh standard.
    - Exceptional written and oral communication skillsin both English and Spanish.
    - Significant experience incommunicating technical information and findings to senior personnel,including non-technical audiences.
    - High business acumen andawareness, in order to provide recommendations and forecasts that mayimpact company's profitability.
    - Ability to travel to the ElPachon site in Argentina's San Juan Provence at an altitude of 4300m.
