Description:

The Senior Research Associate will be responsible to coordinate and ensure success of Gen1 production in Arica

This will include:

Responsible to be connected with the SPSC and the global End to End team
Following SPSC corteva global requirements to produce Gen 1 and ensure locations are setup properly in the field
Compliance to all internal, local, government laws and policies, including direct comunication with SAG in order to ensure successful Certification
Responsible for timely collection of all field data to reside in SPSC/ R&D systems (as SAP, SEED Pro, WWS, PRISM,etc.)
Receive/perform additional requirements as assigned
Supervise research associates, research assistants and temporary workers providing directions and strong technical problem solving tools.
Assure on time delivery.

Qualifications:

Appropriate five year university degree (Ingeniero Agrónomo (M.Sc. equivalent)). At least 3 year of research field experience desirable.
Good supervisor skills; Good level of organization and able to follow processes
Committed to detail and organize
Teamwork
Ability to manage temporary workers.
Health according to work in field ac activities around 70% of the time.
Proficiency with MS Office programs at a user level.
Fluency in written and spoken English is desirable.
